In 5th grade, Don Henley was one of my favorite people. This was another song that I had absolutely no idea what it meant. But, I loved it. Henley was funnier than Weird Al, even if he wasn’t quite as talented musically. DL’s lyrics killed. “Eat your dirty laundry” made me lol before there was such a thing. And “We all know that crap is king” was pretty edgy for 1983.
When it’s said and done I haven’t told you a thing. Getcha some Dirty Laundry...
